The Heart Behind Pearl Soap

To every woman who spends her days caring for everyone else: you deserve a moment of care, too.

I'm Perla Santos, a mother, a Latina woman, a daughter of God, and the founder of Pearl Soap. I know how easily we can lose ourselves in the responsibilities of everyday life, sometimes wishing for just five minutes to pause, breathe, and care for ourselves. That's why Pearl Soap was born, not simply to nourish your skin, but to remind you of a beautiful truth: you are wonderfully created by God, deeply loved, and worthy of the same tenderness you so freely give to others.

Pearl Soap began as a personal calling to create something meaningful, a collection of natural skincare rituals crafted with love, intention, and genuine care. My desire is to offer more than skincare; I want to create moments that invite women to slow down, embrace their natural beauty, and reconnect with themselves and with God.

As a mother and a Latina woman, I understand the beauty of caring for others, but I also know how easy it is to forget ourselves along the way. I believe that taking care of your skin is more than a beauty ritual. It is an opportunity to practice gratitude for the body God has given you, find peace in the middle of a busy day, and remember that your worth is not defined by what you do for others or how you look. You are worthy of care simply because you are His creation.

As a mother and a woman, I understand how easy it is to pour ourselves into our families, our responsibilities, and the people we love, leaving little time for our own needs. We become so accustomed to giving that we sometimes forget that we, too, need moments of rest, tenderness, and care. I want Pearl Soap to be a gentle reminder that you matter, too. The pearl represents the heart of this brand: every woman is precious, unique, beautifully created, and made with purpose. Through Pearl Soap, I hope to remind every woman that her beauty goes beyond what she sees in the mirror and that she is loved by the One who created her.
